Please contact us
about the ongoing Friday evening workshop
in Chelsea, Manhattan, or the
occasional special weekend workshops

  • “ The Renaissance workshop is a great way to feel the ambiance of the artist's studio as well as to try to create a masterpiece of your own. My friend and me had fun time making a drawing in pastel. Setting up a still life was a new experience for my friend and she was able to complete a beautiful drawing. During the workshop Raul shared a wonderful book about Leonardo Da Vinci, we enjoyed looking at his drawings and had a great discussion about Master's works. It was fun to meet new people, exchange ideas, talk about inspiration and make art while having a good time! ”

"I have been a regular participant in the Workshop, Raul, the instructor has skillfully individualized his teaching so that we have all been able to work on different projects simultaneously. He is an extremely supportive teacher who focuses on people?s strengths and is able to help them refine and develop their own creativity. While we are working, inspiration might come from a still life Raul has set up in advance, from the various drawings or paintings around the room that were done by other students or Raul, or from the music he plays while we work. After the hands-on portion of the evening, we usually watch a film about an artist and/or his work which is followed by a very stimulating discussion."
